Spending the holidays in snowy Canada. First time to see snow, to make a snowman and snow angels. I bought 2 pairs of these boots for more than half the price. The one I'm wearing in the picture is sort of a thigh-high one. They are very handy here since I can't wear my leather boots to walk on snow and they will be very handy as well in the Philippines when it's rainy.

Jet Planes and Sunrise

I am in the airport lounge as I write this post. It's been a great week of travel and meeting people. I consider myself very lucky to still be able to travel considering the economy nowadays and travel by business class at that!

Cowboy

I find myself looking back at the D&G RTW Spring 2010 collection. We recently had a cowboy-themed party and should've taken inspiration from the outfits! I love the edgy but feminine with a swag look. With the cooler season around the corner, it's time to strut those boots around. Although it's kinda weird in Manila with the humid weather, hell, who cares?! I really think people should learn to appreciate people's outfits more and compliment them and not just give criticisms.

Business as Usual

I am on my way to Cincinnati for a business trip. This is my first time to travel to the US so I am cherishing every minute of it. I feel so grateful with all the blessings! I will try to post my outfit posts as soon as I've settled. Take care guys! I promise to enjoy!

Remember in this post when I told you that my mom made 2 maxi skirts for me? Well this is one of them. I don't want to spend P1000 for a skirt so decided to just buy fabrics and asked my mom to sew for me. I looooooove them. Let me know what you think.

Nothing special about the outfit, I know. This shirt is supposed to be asymmetrical but I wore it like that since it's more comfortable. I like the dragon detail with sequins which I failed to take a pic of. Hope you all are having a good day!

Crimson

I bought this jacket from one of the thrift stores (yes, Ukay-Ukay) near our house for I think Php10-20. It's still in good condition so it was definitely a great buy! 

The shoes, on the other hand, have a cute ribbon detail at the back. I always say that I favor wedge heels more because I have issues with balance with stilletos but these shoes are surprisingly comfortable. Thanks to my friend Jarvis for the pics! 

I was teased by officemates with my pants, they said I look like MC hammer (Can't touch this!), a concierge (wth?!!), a genie (Mike you still have 3 wishes). I have to say, it was hard for me and was kinda sensitive with comments before but now, I learned to just brush those comments aside and laugh about them. Oh, but I got compliments from girls that night! Guess ladies appreciate my fashion more than guys.

One thing I've learned is that one should not dress for other people but for one's self. Wear what makes you happy. 

Day to be Thankful

This is a very nice day, actually, it's a great day! Here's just some of the things I am thankful for this day:

• I get to travel again soon!
• I have a very supportive and loving mom - she took my pics today 
• I have an awesome and sweetest man in my life - he will be my official photographer soon
• Great friends

Roll 'em Up

I'm sure my girls would agree with me that there's only a certain number of hours that we can stand on those high heels. For me, it is extra tricky because I commute using public transportation going to office. What I usually do is bring a pair of flats and then wear my heels in the office, I don't want to fall flat on my face while walking to office. 

That's why I am so happy when I found these cute rolled shoes from Frollic. They are so handy!

Finally, an outfit post again! Apologies for not posting much for the past months. I swear I'll do better.
