There was a time when butt grazing skirts were the trend. I am okay to wear one but I find it impractical and uncomfortable for me to do that while taking public transportation and carrying stuff to office. Whenever I put together an outfit I factor in my activities for the day. Aside from being stylish, I should also feel comfortable with what I am wearing. I will not wear short skirts and heels if I know I will be running around all day.
I am into maxi skirts recently. I love how they are so stylish and at the same time comfortable. You can dress them up or down if you pick the right pieces to pair them up with. I looked at the prices of maxi skirts in malls and they are beyond my budget. I got frustrated so I decided to buy fabrics and asked my mom to sew the skirts for me (separate post on that one).
